The lack of urgency and efficiency from the staff was disappointing, leaving guests waiting for an extended period. Despite the presence of three staff members, one appeared idle while the line for hotel check-in grew to a massive size.
Unfortunately, the check-in process was a major letdown. On a brighter note, the room I stayed in was clean, nice, and spacious, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation. In the casino, there was someone washing themself in the bathroom that looked like he didn't sleep for days. While this is beyond the hotel's control, it did influence the overall impression. An interesting highlight was the lady selling hot dogs out of a cart! It's worth mentioning that the clientele at times felt a bit sketchy on the casino floor, which may have affected the overall atmosphere. The bars were great and the bartenders were all professional. My recent stay at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel provided a generally enjoyable experience, although there were a few aspects that left room for improvement.
